With Kakapo's being in dire need of population growth a solution was needed to help the rangers retrieve the eggs to ensure a healthy chick. This is where the idea of a tool to retrieve these eggs bloomed. Crafted from wood it can be dropped in the bush without concern of damage, Using bottles and a whisk it not only recycles this waste but also means that capsules can be easily made.
